Our people make us who we are
At Eduprise, our team of experts have years of experience helping schools and trusts to thrive – and they’re here to ensure you succeed.
Educate me about Eduprise
Eduprise was created in 2018 to help schools, local authorities, and trusts create and manage effective communications.
We know that when done right, comms can have a huge effect on areas as diverse as:
But we also understand that the work involved can often fall on school staff members without the experience or time to do it successfully.
That’s why we brought our expertise from more than 20 years serving the education sector to bear.
To help schools realise their potential.

The Eduprise team
The Eduprise team comes from a wide background incorporating marketing, learning, design, software development, and beyond.
What brings us together is a belief that things can – and should! – be done better.
We’re headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne, overlooking the river. Our team is based throughout the United Kingdom and works with schools, local authorities, and trusts across the country.
Meet the team
Ryan is a passionate member of the education community. With nearly 20 years experience working alongside schools, multi-academy trusts, and councils. He’s operated across the length and breadth of the sector, at all levels. Ryan’s background in sales, marketing and communications saw him launch one of the pioneering systems for income generation in schools back in 2005 with his first business Pebble. From there he’s presented to and trained hundreds of people across the UK on engaging staff, students, parents and communities.
In 2016 the Department for Education commissioned Ryan to research and propose innovative ways to support school business leaders. Always keen to share his knowledge Ryan has written papers and guidance for the Association of School & College Leaders, the National Association of Head Teachers as well as contributing to the Institute for School Business Leadership’s Professional Standards. Ever the entrepreneur, in 2018 Ryan launched his next successful business Eduprise, a marketing and management agency for schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts.
In 2019 the team at Eduprise launched ArroCMS the world’s first social media management system designed specifically for schools. Through Eduprise Ryan’s gone on to advise some of England’s leading CEO’s and COO’s with their strategic communications and public relations campaigns. ISBL recently recognised Ryan’s expertise and honoured with the role of Subject Matter Expert in marketing and communications.
Adam Barker-Wyatt joined our team in late 2019. Prior to that he lived in the Netherlands for six years, working as a proofreader and copyeditor in the academic world, proofing and editing full-length publications for organisations such as the Cambridge University Press.
Having refined his skills during his years of study and as a proofreader and editor, Adam is passionate about the craft of writing and relishes the challenge of producing tone-perfect content.
In his spare time, Adam is an avid cook and, for his sins, a long-suffering Newcastle United fan.
Joining our team in early 2020, Claire, who grew up in France and studied in Lyon, the University of Virginia, and The Netherlands, has many years of experience in administrative roles, and as a French teacher.
Claire coordinates and administrates the development of our bespoke content management software, Arro, making sure we deliver a transformative product for our clients. She also helps provide training for staff to better use different communications channels and action website updates using Arro and other content management software.
Claire is a true cinema lover, particularly the works of John Carpenter, and running in the beautiful Jesmond Dene.
Salomon van Huyssteen joined our team in mid 2020. He is originally from South Africa but now lives in Sweden. Obtaining his Masters degree in Engineering from Stellenbosch University he first dabbled in Data Science and then finally settled in Web Development.
With his broad range of skills and experience he brings a practical approach to problem solving and tries to bring a simple methodical approach to the development lifecycle.
In his spare time, Salomon tries his hand at carpentry and likes to play in the surf whenever he can get the opportunity.
David has a degree in fine art.
Ross is a native of Cape Town, South Africa, with an impressive background in advertising. His advertising career spanned five years, where he gained extensive experience in above and below-the-line advertising, refining his design skills along the way.
Ross made a transition into software development as a UI/UX designer and subsequently worked on award-winning digital fintech solutions for prominent brands in South Africa. He joined Eduprise in early 2022, where he focuses on enhancing our brand and the growing list of clients, while further developing our bespoke content management software, Arro. Outside of work, Ross enjoys cooking, MMA, and watching football.
Ben joined our team in mid 2022. Born and raised in Newcastle, Ben is currently studying at Northumbria University where he is working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
Ben has always wanted to work in the education sector and has previously spent a lot of time volunteering at his mom’s two primary schools. He also developed a passion for everything marketing after taking Business Studies in both his GCSEs and A Levels.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing badminton, walking his dogs, and diving into video games.
Born in Staffordshire, Claire loved studying Art, History and English literature at school. She went on to do a degree in Surface Design at the University of Huddersfield. Since then she has undertaken various job roles including Theatre Production, Retail, Clothing Alterations and Costume Mascot Production. However, after taking a break to raise her two children, she discovered a passion for digital marketing and content writing.
After graduating from a digital marketing course at the Fearless Academy she started her role as Digital Intern here at Eduprise in March 2023. When not running around after two energetic young boys, she enjoys knitting, upholstery, yoga, learning new skills and exploring new places.
