A huge amount of money has been earmarked for this year’s Trust Capacity Fund. However, without a convincing application, your trust won’t be successful in claiming any of it. That’s why we’ve been writing about how, through Eduprise, your trust can compile a comprehensive application today.
A2: Encourage Strong Trusts to Grow by Taking on and Improving Weaker Maintained Schools and Academies
The second strand of the scheme focuses on supporting strong trusts to grow by taking on and improving weaker maintained schools and academies. In the following paragraphs, we’ll explain how a project with Eduprise will support any trust to grow and take on new schools.
As multi-academy trusts grow in size, the cost of providing high-quality communications for each school and the trust itself can increase unsustainably. With this in mind, we have designed the way we deliver communications to take advantage of the organisational structure of MATs, using automation and efficient workflows to cut down the costs of producing content for multiple individual schools. For more information about how our approach suits large MATs, read our recent blog post.
By embarking on a project with Eduprise, trusts that wish to grow can ensure their spending on communications does not significantly rise, and that the infrastructure we implement will allow them to maintain a high standard in their communications despite the increase in required output.
As an agency, we have extensive experience helping trusts grow sustainably. As new schools join a trust, the transitional period involves an often underestimated amount of work. Through effective, proactive communications, any pain involved in this transition can be significantly reduced.
Meeting the Criteria
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria for their chosen strand will then have their bids assessed according to the following criteria:
- Geographical Need
- Contextual Need
- Value for Money
- Resource Management
While we would be unable to influence any trusts’ case in terms of geographical need and contextual need, a project involving Eduprise would succeed in the remaining categories of assessment.
In terms of deliverability, applicants would need to provide assessors with assurance that all funded activities will be completed by 31st March 2021. For a trust growth proposal, Eduprise would provide communications to cover the transitionary period, making sure that any new school is smoothly integrated into the existing communications structure in place at the trust. We would then give the trust the option to further succeed by continuing to work with us.
In regards to the following three categories — value for money, sustainability, and resource management — Eduprise can also provide a strong case. One of our principal goals as an agency is to make sure that all work we do for our clients benefits them financially in both the short and long term. We know that well-executed communications have a huge impact on admissions, recruitment, and, consequently, income. As a result, all content we produce for our clients is designed in line with a strategy specific to the needs of the trust and the school.
Our focus on cost efficiency is particularly effective for growing trusts. This is because, at Eduprise, our services are built to scale.
